Before the crane comes on load, every shift on a luffing-jib tower. After any luffing-system work.
CAPTURE
- Machine serial and whether hydraulic (MRH) or rope (MR)
- Jib length, angle, reeving, ballast — chart in the cab
- Hydraulic rams, hoses, tank — or luffing rope, cathead, winch
- Hoist, slew, limits, anemometer
- Out-of-service jib position for this wind
- Defects and out-of-service decision
ROUTING
Operator completes. Luffing-system defects stop the crane. Copy in the logbook. Copy to GOSPEL.
