WorkSafeBC writes Part 14 and Part 15. BC Crane Safety administers operator certification in B.C. and Yukon — register before you train or operate. SkilledTradesBC runs the apprenticeship, Standardized Level Exams, and the Red Seal sitting. Fulford is the testing partner for Level B theory and the on-crane practical.
Register with BC Crane Safety, then enrol with SkilledTradesBC. Pass Fulford Level B so you can operate under a written supervision plan. Complete technical training and 2,685 hours of work-based training, logging crane time in SkillRecord Passport. Pass Level 1 SLE, Level 2 SLE, the Interprovincial Red Seal, and a Fulford practical.
