Red Seal questions
Register with BC Crane Safety, then enrol with SkilledTradesBC. Pass Fulford provisional theory so you can operate under a written supervision plan. Technical training is 12 weeks over three years: Level 1 210 hours, Level 2 140 hours, Level 3 70 hours. There is no separate Level 2 SLE. Level 1 SLE is required before Level 3 SLE and before the IP. 1,600 of the 4,980 hours are operating time, including 400 on specified lattice or greater-than-80 t hydraulic equipment.
REDMC holds the mobile questions, manufacturer RT/AT/crawler charts, and BCACS sling figures. Tower certification is a different trade — use REDTC for that.
